SK Gaming bounced back after a poor performance versus mTw last week to defeat Chinese team Wisdom Nerve Victory in Playday 3 of the WC3L Season XIV.

It could have been the third clan war defeat in a row with wNv Teamwork 's matches versus Gravitas Gaming and Keepers of Destruction being tied at 2-2 with two matches postponed.

Both those matches however were played yesterday with Liwei 'xiaOt' Sun coming to wNv's rescue to salvage both clan wars with victories against Robert 'Rob' Abdrakhmanov of GG & Nick 'Axslav' Ranish of KoD.

The match versus SK Gaming did not fair as well with SK getting the luck of the draw in terms of match-ups. An interesting turn of events saw Sung Sik 'ReMinD' Kim and Xiaot do a reverse matchup with Remind playing Orc and Xiaot playing Night Elf.

However the moment of brilliance came in the first match of the Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee versus Xiang 'TH000' Huang series on Terenas Stand, with Soju winning in just under 7 minutes. After his Warden reached level 3 Soju's items included two mantles of intelligence and a wand of lightning shield, he then bought a staff of teleportation and teleported to a wisp he'd kept near TH000's base. Using his lightning shield on his wisp along with level two fan of knives Soju proceeded to decimate TH000's workers.

Due to the scroll of teleportation automatically teleporting to the nearest town hall, TH000 tped to his expansion by mistake thus forcing himself to walk the rest of the distance to his main base giving Soju more than enough time to do some permanent damage.

You can download the replay if you're interested but note that an Arena bug means the replay states the opposing player is MacSed but it is infact TH000. Despite a poor first game TH000 recovered in the second and third game to bring his team a point and avoided a 5-0 score-line.
