WCG 2004 or 2008?
Which would you rate higher? Take into account, coverage, playoff matches and participants.
For me 2008 wins simply because quality of the quarter/semi/ and final but perhaps its different if you watching from a distance?
What are your views?

Grubby himself said in an interview 2008 was better because in 2004 he wasn't pro, he didn't consider he deserved the victory at all. After this, he improved himself, the game changed.
In WCG2008, he really wanted the win, and this was the tournament he worked the most for. + He didnt want to disappoint his fan one more time + he wanted to show he deserves to be a MYM player + his family was here + he wanted to bring back people trust etc.
I can give you a link for Grubby's interview (Moon got interviewed too) but it's in french... http://www.esportsfrance.com/reportage/actualites/1088/

It's basically Grubby saying he never worked harder for a title, it's his most important one because of his family and fans cheering form him. After beating Infi and later Tod he felt like he could win it. WCG organisation is great. He doesn't waste a thought on SC2 after winning the biggest Wc3 title for now. And of course when playing against Moon every little mistake is fatal, the pressure nwas enormous.
Moon says he's sad, but will come back next year to finally win WCG. He made some mistakes that Grubby took advantage of, being the good player that he is. He said he's proud to have Grubby in his team but also that preparing strategies vs a teammate you practice against so often is difficult. Plus he had a hard time sleeping the night before that because he was anxious.

2k4 was pretty damn exciting, pretty much validation to both Zacard and Grubby for title of best orc player in the world (at the time it was heavily debated) and grubby proved to come out on top with an impressive series of games.
This one wasn't exciting besides the fact that grubby was facing moon in the finals. I think if they ran a bo5 with moon , he woulda lost. But grats to grubby nevertheless, don't get me wrong, I wuv him still and I think he's top 5.

Just so everyone knows. The prefix "k" which is oftenly used around the internet stands for "kilo" and means thousand or 1000. So when someone says 2k8 you mathematicly say 20008. To be fully correct it should be 2,008 k which just seems awefully weird. So I don't even know why I brought this up :S

from the winner's perspective , 2008 must be better , because Grubby was under a lot of fire going in the tournament
besides , the last 2 final games were epic , i lol'd so hard at his BM surviving with 1hp
