The Grand Final of the AWL Season II was an Orc mirror between Hyosub "Focus" Eom from MeetYourMakers and June "Lyn" Park of SK Gaming.
The matches were not only a mirror in race but also in style as both players went for a Blademaster as their primary hero and a Shadow Hunter as their secondary hero in all three games. In terms of units both players went for the grunt, raider & walker mix with a few late kodos.
Lyn said in the post-match interview conducted that after reading on a Korean website that he would not stand a chance versus FoCuS he was eager to prove them all wrong. The games evolved around the secondary hero kills which Lyn proved to be better at in all games bar the last where he lost his Shadow Hunter once.
The consolation final saw two players from Beijing E-Sports Team competing for Bronze, which saw Chun Jung "Sweet" Hee defeat Jin Woo "BeT.WinNerS" Kim- 3-1.
We will upload the VODs as soon as they become available and you can follow his path to the title by revisiting our AWL Season II Coverage.
1st place: SK.Lyn €4,200
2nd place: MYM]FoCus €2,400
3rd place: BeT.Sweet €750
