The semi-final pairings will be as follows:
* Flash vs. AnyTime
* Berserker (Iris) vs. Stork
These quarterfinals ended with a rather unexpected outcome to many Starcraft fans, as some of their favourite players, Kim "Bisu" Taek Yong and Lee "Jaedong" Jae Dong had to admit their opponents’ superiority in dramatic battles.
These two matches probably were the most anticipated, as everyone wanted to see what unique builds they would use. But as soon as the first match between Lee "Jaedong" Jae Dong and Lee "Flash" Young Ho started, Jaedong's chances were almost set to a minimum because after approximately three minutes the game was over with Flash coming on top after a successful marine rush. The next game was on Katrina, a Protoss-friendly map in which you usually see people choosing a slow build more than rushing, but Jaedong did the opposite and managed to succeed with an early zergling + hatchery + sunken rush.
This showed everyone that you really do fight fire with fire, but despite the comeback, the Zerg got carried away and attempted another sunken rush on the third and final map - Baekmagoji. This might have been one of his biggest mistakes as the new Terran countered the rush and managed to win the game after having a better economical situation.
Therefore if Jaedong lost in rather close and intense matches, Kim "Bisu" Taek Yong got almost bulldozed by Byun "Berserker" Hyung Tae who was previously known as Iris. The first map was looking promising for Bisu as he managed to do a fast zealot rush without his opponent noticing in time, but then his micro was not good enough. After loosing the rush Bisu lost the game in general. As the game went on to Katrina, the Berserker came up with an excellent build to counter the "unstoppable" carrier tactic. And after Bisu couldn’t prevent the Terran from destroying his main base in time, it was too late to come back because the invisible Terran wraiths flied in to finish off Bisu's carriers. Which meant "good game."
In the other games the Current WCG title holder Song "Stork" Byung Goo stoped Yum "Sea" Bo Sung's winning streak and will now have a chance to have a revenge on Berserker after losing to him in the group stage. And Oh Yeong "Anytime" Jong will battle against Flash, after winning his mirror match-up against Park "Much" Yeong Min.

Stormm's semi-final prediction
"Here we are at the semi-finals with unique players who can defeat anyone on a good day. After seeing Flash countering almost everything Jaedong did, many will tell that Flash should win versus Anytime, but it's not like that would be easy for him, especially if he will fail to win Anytime on Katrina. I say it will be a close match, but in the very end it will be Anytime coming on top and same is for the other game. Stork vs. Berserker will definitely be worth to watch, after seeing the latter to dominate Bisu, who is currently the best rated Protoss and overall player in KeSPA ranking, I wonder what could he do to Stork, but you cant forget that Stork is a smart player and always finds a way out. My Final prediction is that the Final will be between two Protoss players - Anytime and Stork."
