Ninjas in Pyjamas returned as champions from the previous year and had to overcome several tough teams such as

SK Gaming practicing before the match against Hellraisers.
On the other hand, our Counter-Strike squad finished 5-8th after being unable to outmatch Hellraisers in the quarter finals of DreamHack Summer 2014 in Jönköping, Sweden. The match was set in best-of-three single elimination format and the first map was SK Gaming's strongest de_inferno. Unfortunately we started on the weaker side and failed to secure the all important pistol round, as the Ukrainian in-game leader

The second half was significantly better for our team. SK Gaming won the pistol round in a close two-on-two situation and as well as scored the followed round flawlessly. Hellraisers won the first gun round of the second half and secured themselves map point. SK Gaming survived the next round by winning a crucial situation, forcing Hellraisers to eco. We secured the next round as well, thanks to roque's three beautiful kills denying the CIS-based team to penetrate bombsite B.

The second map was de_nuke and SK Gaming managed to win the knife round and started on the heavily favored CT side. Hellraisers won the pistol round, thanks to the former Na'Vi player markeloff scoring three kills allowing his teammates to conquer bombsite A. Hellraisers won the next two rounds as expected. The CIS-based super team managed to once again capture bombsite A, but this time SK Gaming was able to retake and win the first gun round.

The second half seemed promising for our Counter-Strike team, as we managed to win the pistol round. The team captain pita won the next round with three more frags in the scoreboard. Dosia shut down three opponents and won the nineteenth round flawlessly, denying SK Gaming to take lead. However, SK Gaming managed to win the followed round in result leaving the CIS-based team without much resources to work with. Despite the rough start Hellraisers managed to win the next round. SK Gaming decided to rush from outside to lower bombsite, but lost the round in the end as emilio was unable to clutch one-on-two situation due to timeout. ANGE1 secured match point by taking down four enemies during the followed round. SK Gaming survived one more round by clutching a close round, but during the next round we witnessed markeloff opening bombsite A by scoring down three helping his team to win the second map and the match overall in a three-on-one situation against the low on health maikel in the end. Hellraisers won the match and proceeded to the semi-finals to meet Ninjas in Pyjamas.
