With only one active player left in their three-player squad, Beijing E-sports Team had no choice but to forfeit their match against SK Gaming by the middle of this season.
SK Gaming are having a disappointing season so far with only two wins out of four, but the walkover shot them from mid-table to the third place.
The match versus hoorai will be their first appearance this month after the spectacular team tournament “The Road of the King” where they earned second place in Wuhan, China.
SK Gaming’s manager Min-Sik “reis” Ko reiterated his team’s desire to reach the offline finals, “There are not many playdays left and our goal is the finals so we have to give our best. Its our first clanwar after rotk I hope we will see some nice games.”
However their counterpart hoorai may be considered as the underdog in this encounter, they are not the ones to be taken lightly as they have previously defeated the title holder Meet Your Makers this season.
Apart from Hungarian Peter “DNA” Agardi who is enjoying a good run in their line-up, they are recently bolstered with two former Serious Gaming players Angel “Bianconero” Ganchev and Valentine “FiX” Krulikovsky.
“Our new teammates Bro and Fix integrated really well and they are training a lot, so we can bank on them for the first time in a ngl war. In combination with Bringer, Nani, DNA, Sein and Diesel our team is balanced,”
“So lets see how these Eurofighters can compete against the korean Microgamers.” says hoorai’s manager Tim “beat” Emmerich.
The clash will kick off at 17:00 CET today with Secret Valley being the first map. You can follow the match live via Waaagh!TV and GGTV as well as our SK Gaming versus hoorai coverage item.
