Week 4 was quite a challenge for SK Gaming. Unicorns of Love, the team that defeated SK in Spring split playoffs, were struggling in the Summer split. The other opponents, Roccat, just made a roster change in the ADC position, which might give some struggle this week, until their team gets settled.
“Wombo combo” saves SK over Unicorns
In the first day’s matchup, our team faced UOL, who were also in a rough road by having a 0-2 score in week 3. In the early game, all lanes tried to push Unicorns towards their towers, which gave Svenskeren room to breathe and punish his opponents by drawing the first blood on PowerOfEvil. Though few times SK were caught and punished, the duo of Fredy122 and Svenskeren tried to keep their team in the game. Kills and chaos kept both teams close in gold, as each team made mistakes in calling plays. Around 30 minutes into the game, SK stalled Unicorns around the baron objective, while Fredy122 took bottom inhibitor and brought his team back in gold. Nevertheless, UOL kept pushing SK towards their nexus, when “wombo combo” from Ekko’s Parellel Convergence stun and Gnar ultimate saved our team and eventually brought the victory over their opponents.

Rolling over Roccat
On day 2, SK Gaming were facing Roccat with hopes to take the second win in week 4. The game started slowly, both teams exchanging turrets in opposite lanes, until Fox went 1v1 against Nukeduck and took first blood. While Roccat had a sieging comp, they failed to go as a team to secure objectives, which draw them further and further back in gold. SK’s lanes were again pushing all over the map, thus allowing Svenskeren to invade Jankos’s jungle which resulted in kills and objectives to our team. The main turnaround in the game happened at the 35 minute mark as Roccat tried to bait baron over dragon objective, which went completely wrong for the Polish team: kills to Fox and CandyPanda and eventually the baron buff to SK. After this point, there was too little chance to comeback and SK took their second victory in the Summer split of 2015.
Players of the week: Dennis "Svenskeren" Johnsen (5.6 KDA) and Simon "fredy122" Payne (7.0 KDA)

The first three weeks were really rough for both of these guys. However, this week, their "wombo combo" brought the first two victories to SK Gaming. As they finally found their game, these two wins probably will not be the last this split.
Next week, SK Gaming will face Elements and H2k, as they will try to extend the victory streak and comeback to the middle pack in the standings.
