Unless you live under a rock you probably already know that the Clash Royale League officially kicked off on the 20th August. We've already had two weeks of intense matches but besides the results from these, let's also have a look at the format of the league.
Each CRL team features four players for each match. Two of them face off against a pair of their opponents in the first set of the match which is a Best of Three 2v2. Then one of the remaining players battles in a Best of Three 1v1. In both 2v2 and 1v1 players are allowed to change their decks for each game. If the score after these two sets is 1-1, the match enters the King of the Hill tiebreaker mode with Best of One games. Each team chooses three out of their four players and the order in which they will face their adversaries. Whoever wins the first game battles in the second too and possibly even the third. Whoever loses is out and his next teammate in line picks up the mantle. Once a team achieves three victories and all three of their opponents have lost, they are the winner of the whole match.
After our first three matches in the League our score is 1-2. We had a rough 0-2 defeat in our opening game against G2 Esports but picked it up with a 2-0 of our own against Allegiance. Week 2 brought us our second defeat by the hands of Team Dignitas by the smallest margin possible - in overtime in game 5 of King of the Hill as Matt's Fireball was flying to the princess tower and victory, his own tower fell. If next Clash Royale update includes a 0,1 seconds faster hit time for Fireball, we won't complain at all!
No time to dwell on the past though as we have important matches this week against Team Liquid and Fnatic which provide us with two more chances to put additional victories in our column.

This is also what esports is all about. It comes down to one moment that can change the entire outcome of a game. Being so close yet so far. Ggs to @TeamDignitas. @SKGaming will comeback stronger next week! #RUNSKG pic.twitter.com/1gsjPft7om
