Exceeding expectations and goals, our Clash Royale team has now reached the Clash Royale League EU final!
The playoffs kicked off yesterday in a king of the hill style. As the 4th seed our task was to in best case scenario win against each team seeded higher than us one after the other. There was also a new format in place - Best of Five with a 2v2 set, 3 1v1 sets and a King of the Hill if needed.
Starting up with the Frenchmen from Allegiance, we entered the Arena and swept up the competition. Morten and Matt took the 2v2 set with a 2-0, Loay won the first 1v1 with a 2-1 and Morten sealed the deal with another 2-0.
With only a few minutes to prepare, it was time to go up against our next opponent - G2 Esports. Morten was joined by Loay for the 2v2 but unfortunately they failed to win that one (1-2). Matt was tasked with equalising the score and he didn't let us down taking the win with a 2-1. Loay returned for the next 1v1 and secured another 2-1 victory. Being one win away from the finals, the pressure was on Morten to make it happen. In the 4th set to end with a 2-1 score he punched our ticket to the final where we will meet Team Queso.
