The Gods have blessed us with their Hammer and we are the Season 6 SMITE World Champions! An incredible run by the team from seventh place throughout the regular season to topping the placement round and then the championship itself. The accomplishment is nothing short of extraordinary as we had to face the previous world champions from SPLYCE, take down Renegades in a reverse sweep and then face Team Rival who had yet to lose a game before getting to the grand final. After years of yearning for the trophy, SMITE veteran and leader of the team, Zapman, finally accomplished his goal alongside his teammates of over a year who chose to stick together and are now reaping the rewards for that.

Congratulations to Belair, Sam4Soccer2, Paul, NeilMah, Zapman, and coach Chuck - you are truly legendary.

Our SMITE team successfully conquered the World Championship Placement Round last week and now they are heading to DreamHack Atlanta on a quest to lift the coveted hammer trophy. Coming as the seventh seed the task will not be an easy one but the warm up during the placement round may come in useful and help them topple the opponents who stand in their way.

After a dominant run through the playoffs, @SKGaming is headed into our World Championship as the #7 seed.

The World Championship will see eight teams enter a single elimination bracket with Best of 3 quarter-finals and Best of 5 semis and final.
