We're excited to finally be able to reveal our full roster for SK Prime, our second League of Legends team which competes in the German national league, aptly named Prime League.
2019 was a year filled with ups and downs for Prime as in the first half of the year they achieved second place in EU Masters Spring and in the second half, they struggled in all competitions. With those struggles in mind and also the fact that Sacre and Jenax were promoted to LEC full time, only one player remains from our 2019 roster - Phrenic. We've assembled a squad full of young talent around him which we hope to polish throughout the year under the guidance of head coach Brokenshard and his new assistant, Obvious.

Brokenshard, Head Coach of SK Prime, shared the following:
"For 2020 we decided to revamp 80% of our roster and bring in some fresh faces to replace the old. Roster building in the off season went incredibly well, we managed to secure every player we had our eyes on. All this, coupled with the brand new facility, nutrition program and additional staff is sure to make our team not only a competitive one, but achieve the primary goal of our academy team: to develop talent. We brought in some incredibly young players like Trymbi and Reeker who have played only less than a year of competitive esports and hope to give them a new home to hone their skills and become top tier players. We have the tools to achieve great things and I cannot wait to showcase the talent we have on our team this year."
René Spanier, our League of Legends General Manager, added:
"Once again we field our Prime Team with talented players who have the potential to play LEC after a time of development. Moreover this is the first year where the SK Prime Team is receiving the same treatment as our LEC lineup - single apartments, individual nutrition and sports plans and a chef on every training- and match day. With this setup we guarantee the best environment for them to improve, challenge every opponent in the DACH scene and step up to support our LEC Team when the time comes."
As you can see our plans for SK Prime for this year are very ambitious but also backed up in multiple ways by the infrastructure we've been working on in our headquarters in Cologne, Germany. We may start slow while the team clicks together but we'll remain focused on long-term success. Please extend a warm welcome to our new players and staff member and give them all your support throughout 2020!
