Carrot Gaming was formed to play for aX eSports last December, but their sponsor left them behind a month later without paying what they deserved.

In spite of staying together afterwards to participate in ESL Bundesliga and NGL in a bid to attract sponsors, nothing came to fruition for them in the following months and thus decided to disband.

NGL in turn unveiled team eXpertise as successor to Carrot Gaming in a press release issued today. The Chinese team finished fifth in the qualifier in early February, and was in line to replace any team that withdraws from the competition. But NGL later decided to snub them to introduce World Elite when both SK Gaming and Meet Your Makers pulled out of the championship.

Expertise are due to play against Team ALTERNATE in the upcoming matchday 2, but it remains uncertain whether they will play against nGize, to whom that Carrot Gaming lost in the first matchday, or started the season with a default defeat.
