After two exciting qualifiers, the Finals of the Munich Gaming Challenge were held in Munich, Germany. The four qualified players Joshua 'Crown' Begehr, Kai 'deto' Wollin, André 'AndResoN' Richter and Jannik 'Era' Huber fought for a piece of the prize pool, amounting to €2,000. Despite losing against hoorai's deto, Kr0ne managed to concentrate on his game and received €300 for winning against AndResoN from nGize in the third place play-off, however, Era from mousesports won the final against deto. Era received €1,000 for his success.
Only two days later, the second edition of the weekly "Geil-Challenge" kicked off with 170 participants from all over Europe. This tournament was dominated by Joshua 'Crown' Begehr from SK Gaming, he won most of his eight games by two or more goals. The most exciting game was in the quarter final against faculty's Elias 'sn4p' Althoff. Finnaly, kr0ne beat Gábor 'mokosg' Mokos from diamondZ in the overall final and took the €100 prize.
