Pelle 'Fazz' Söderman won, 2-1 in maps against 'madix' while 'Weird' qualified by winning against Mikael 'PURRI' Tarvainen 2-1 in maps as well. They will both be moving on to the main tournament with Weird being put into playday one facing Richard 'noctis' Gansterer on Monday. Fazz will be playing against Kevin 'Strenx' Baeza during playday two, July 23rd.
Before the best-of-five show match between Maciej 'av3k' Krzykowski and Alessandro 'stermy' Avallone was played Carmac tried his best to interview a reserved Av3k who had gone all the way to the ESL-TV studio. Stermy dominated the match going away as the winner beating Av3k 3-0. Unfortunately Stermy will not be playing in the tournament. The whole show can be found over at ESL-TV.
The next show will be on Monday between 19:00-21:00 with noctis, Weird, av3k and Gareth 'GaRpY' Marshall battling it out for the first semi-final spot and 100€.
