The fourth day was hosted by James '2GD' Harding and guest Carmac. With both Marcel 'k1llsen' Paul and Alexei 'Cypher' Yanushevsky among today's participants many were hoping to see a rematch of the ESWC Grand Finals. With K1llsen easily defeating Marius 'Guard' Ivanauskas 2-0 in maps it looked like it would happen.

But as always Murphy's Law stands true and Cypher were no where to be found. Instead Michael 'mAdix' Hindersson was given his spot but again there was trouble as Madix could not play and instead Pierre-Emeric 'link1n' Portier jumped in. However complaining about having hurt his hand Link1n wanted time to warm-up, time that ESL-TV did not have.

While talking about getting the polish player Prox, who recently did very well in ESL's Quake 3 duel tournament, Link1n decided that he didn't need any warm-up. So with two players ready the game was finally going to start when the server stopped working. Luckily it could all be solved and the second game of the day was played after a short delay.

Link1n who had previously been invited to the tournament, but forced to drop out took his chances and went on to crush a very nervous Benjamin 'calipt' Jakob. Link1n against K1llsen turned out to be a very even game, with K1llsen showing a superior understanding of the game, moving on to claim 100 euro and the last grand final spot.

K1llsen will now advance to play the semi finals against Fox in the grand final event for a prize pot of 600 euro the third of august. As always VODs can be found over at ESL-TV.
