First of all we come to our Live for Speed racers who did well in this years ESL Sports Racing Championship. Sebastian 'ClioRacer' Seybold kept contact to the podium positions over the whole season and always managed good results. He was able to score some Top 3 results in the overall ten races. But there just also have been unlucky moments like the crash with his teammate Carsten Hörenbaum in the BMW Sauber F1 which threw both a little step back in the Championship. At the end Sebastian placed 4th overall in the eRC09 and took home 150 € prize money.
Our 2nd LfS-Racer Carsten 'KiLl3r' Hörenbaum also started well into the season always reaching a good Top 10 result. But then he got very unlucky in nearly all the next races because he always got involved into crashes which threw him to the end of the grid without a chance to score much points. At the end Carsten was able to rescue a 10th place overall after he had such bad luck in almost all the races in the ESL Sports Racing Championship 2009.
Now we come to our RACE07 racers. Danny 'HuskY' Engels, Hendrik 'b0nd' von Eye and Christoph 'DreaF' Hörenbaum had big plans to win the first season of the ESL Sports Touring Car Championship. Danny 'HuskY' Engels got a really great start into the season always reaching a Top 5 result. But to the end of the season Danny missed a race, due to several reasons, even though he was leader of the championship at this point. He finally decided to step back from eTC and fully concentrate on Need for Speed: Shift. If he would have finished the season he would have been on a Top3 position easily.
Hendrik 'b0nd' von Eye even got a better start than Danny into the season because Hendrik was able to win the first race of the season in Brands Hatch. After that Hendrik was in all next races on heavy weight but he still could manage great Top 5 positions and stayed on first place overall for a long time. The last races of the season were very unlucky for Hendrik. In the forelast race all SK Racers had big problems in the rain of the Lausitzring choosing the wrong tactic. At the end he also had to move down to Grid 2 for the last race without a chance to score enough points to win the eTC 09. At the end Hendrik placed 3rd overall and wins a total prize money of 250 €.
The 3rd driver in the row is Christoph 'DreaF' Hörenbaum who always managed to reach a Top 10 result like his brother Carsten in Live for Speed. Christoph has also been leading two races in this season but both times he threw away his leading position off the track by being unconcentrate or something else. After Race 6 Chrstioph had a good view to the podium positions overall but he got the same problems as Hendrik on the Lausitzring which also had to let him move down to Grid 2 for the last race. At the end Christoph got 10th overall.
All in all there have been really good results for the whole Racing Team but at the end somehow everyone got unlucky which leads to the fact that the Team lost the Championship in the last 2 races after being on top for a very long time.
We thank all SK Racers for a great season and wish them best of luck in 2010.
