The Gamebattles GameStop Modern Warfare 2 tournament is the biggest and first tournament for the new title carrying a first place prize of $10,000. The structure is to whittle down European and North American teams until four remain (two from each continent) and fly them to an offline event in the USA where the best of each continent will then play each other. While the North American tournament isn't over, the European competition has concluded.
