What a long strange trip it's been in the StarsWar Killer 6 event. We started with 64 eager players from Korea, China, and the rest of the world, and after all the dust has settled we are now left with our final 4.
, Jun Feng 'LoveCD' Li, Liu 'LoveTT' Yin, and Sun Li 'xiaOt' Wei have all fought their way through some very fierce opposition in the hopes that they could make it this far, and they have proven that against the odds they can. While some complain that latency from the online portion of this event has somewhat influenced the results, with the skill that each of these players has exhibited to this point it would be hard to argue that, as each deserves their spot this far in the event.
As a sign of their accomplishments so far, StarsWar will be flying each of these four remaining players to Shanghai for the LAN portion of the event, where all pretences about latency can be put aside and only the strong survive.
With the Chinese showing up in force for these event, it has become clear that they will be a force to be reckoned with going forward as they develop their StarCraft 2 prowess on the international scene. The action starts this Wednesday at 00:00 CET and we should all be in for a wild ride. With 8400 USD at stake, you never know what these players might do in their quest for the championship. See you then.
