Sunday saw
mousesports take home two gold titles for ESL Pro Series Winter 2011 and League Cup Winter 2011. For their EPS win, the Germans had to take on
ESC Gaming swe in the final, who moved three of their players to Germany in order to take part in EPS. The first map was de_inferno, which saw
mousesports dominating with an 11-4 lead CT side, with their domination continuing into the second half as they took the first map with a 16-8 win. The second map saw the same dominant play from
mouz, with them only just managing to clutch the win with a 16-13 scoreline.
The third place decider was held in November online, which saw
Team ALTERNATE defeat myRevenge 2-1, giving them the third place and slightly more prize money.
The League Cup also saw
mousesports taking part in the grand final on LAN, after having previously defeated
ESC Gaming swe online, with
frantiC.SNOGARD earning their place in the grand final after defeating
Team ALTERNATE . The first map in the grand final was de_tuscan, which ended up being an incredibly tense map being taken into overtime until
mouz managed to snatch the victory 21-18. The next map saw the German teams battle it out on de_nuke, which saw mousesports showing no weakness once again as they took the map 16-6, winning them the tournament.
