The Retry looked very confident in their first game of the finals, beating Natus Vincere with well coordinated attacks. Under the command of Vladamir 'PGG' Anosov, TR picked ES, CM, Enigma and POTM along with AM as the hard carry. Na'Vi went with Windrunner, Weaver, AA, Pudge and Tidehunter. It was TR who showed amazing team play with Vladamir 'PGG' Anosov playing the main roll as Enigma, locking weaver in his ultimate almost every fight twisting the game in favour of TR while played a very strong POTM as well. As usual, AM was unstoppable near the end.
In the second game, Na'Vi banned Enigma right away. Apparently the statistics on Enigma this tournament are flat out amazing: Enigma won 15 games and lost just one. Na'Vi played the second game with AM, CM, Windrunner, Beastmaster and Venomancer while TR went with a completely different line-up from the first game, picking Tidehunter, Balanar, Broodmother, AA and Weaver. This time it was Na'Vi who took control, with Alexander 'XBOCT' Dasjkevitj playing AM while the rest of his team ganked. At 20 minutes, Na'Vi had the most kills while TR got the most towers but it was Na'Vi who put the most pressure on their opponents and who had the game under control. Once again, it was AM who was just too strong in the end and won the game for Na'Vi making the score 1-1 and in need of a third game.
Thankfully, AM got banned in the third game and Furion made his appearance along with Razor to counter Slardar. TR goes with a Global Strategy picking Furion, Tidehunter, Vengeful Spirit, Razor and Zeus while Na'Vi goes with Windruner, CM, Slardar, Venomancer and Drow Ranger. Perhaps a Spectre would complete the Global Strategy, but TR would not have been able to keep him alive so Razor was the smarter pick. Right from the start Vladamir 'PGG' Anosov showed solid rune control, picking up the double damage twice resulting in four kills. The conventional Na'Vi line-up didn't hold up versus the more refreshing line-up of TR, after 15 minutes TR leads 12-3 with a 3000 gold difference while Sergey 'ARS-ART' Revin showed off his escape artist skills with Slardar. TR was clearly the better team with ganks all over the map and pushing towers, getting all six towers after 20 minutes. TR got carried by Vladamir 'PGG' Anosov's Furion and Vladislav 'blowurbrain' Morozuk's Razor and was able to take out the mid Tier 3 tower at 30 minutes because of a well performed gank on Alexander 'XBOCT' Dasjkevitj's Drow Ranger. With a final push TR becomes the first team to beat Na'Vi in a LAN tournament of Dota 2.
